What is HDPE
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polyethylene high-density (PEHD) is a thermoplastic polymer produced from the monomer ethylene. HDPE is known for its high strength-to-density ratio.
100% Recyclable
HDPE Boats are environmentally friendly and 100 % recyclable. HDPE boats can be remelted and reshaped for reuse. This help in keeping non-biodegradable waste out of landfills, while helping reduce plastic production by up to 50 percent. Whereas FRP Boats are not Recyclable.
Maintenance Free
HDPE is a thermoplastic material and it is not corrosive unlike conventional materials. HDPE Boats require almost no maintenance. There is no need for anti-fouling, painting.
Non-Corrosive
HDPE is not a corrosive material. Oxygen, salt and water have no effect on HDPE
Unsinkable
HDPE is a very safe material and it is lighter than water with density of 930 to 970 kg/m3. HDPE Boats are literally non-sinkable and that makes HDPE extremely buoyant.
High Impact Resistance
HDPE is not a rigid material therefore HDPE Boats are very resistant especially to strong weather conditions, sailing on choppy seas in comparison to the rigid conventional boats.
High tensile strength
GRP or FRP is quickly damaged when bumping into a sharp rock or rampart and even aluminium and steel can dent or tear. Not HDPE. HDPE’s viscous and elastic characteristics prevent from both deformation and the formation of cracks. HDPE is both tough and flexible thanks to its high tensile strength.
Low carbon footprint
The carbon footprint of HDPE production is 5 times lower than aluminium And that’s only one aspect when it comes to durability. This will serve the E in your Company HSE policy.
High Impact Resistance

Enhanced ride quality
Our engineered hull combined with the incredibly high impact absorbing and thermal density qualities of HDPE, makes our boats ride like no other. You can expect a soft, quiet and smooth ride.
Long Life Cycle
Due to its chemical composition and its very nature HDPE is very durable against aging and corrosion on maritime conditions. HDPE boats' life is up to 50 years. Thus, HDPE has much longer lifespan than any other material used in maritime industry.
